I pick the dogs up and immediately take them on Rushcliffe Country Park where L is doing the parkrun. A run she probably isn’t well enough to do and her time reflects this.
The dogs seem to be in better shape than both of us and seem to have put on very little weight this time.
We are both well enough to make a decent fist of a meal out with L’s parents, my parents and L’s sister’s family at the Masons. It gives a chance to debate the latest Derby County debacle as they crash and burn out of the promotion race.
Rather conveniently we can debate last night’s draw with Watford first hand with a Watford supporter, L’s sister’s husband.
