Peacemaker

MD jumps up at someone on his walk this morning, so now L and MD aren't speaking. I have to try to act as peacemaker again.

The preparations for L's brother's funeral continue albeit slowly and expensively. It all makes you think that taking out one of these funeral plans might be a good idea or is that simply what they are trying to scare you in to doing. The alternative, I suppose, is the weigh me down with a few rocks and chuck me in the river option. That might not be legal though.

I’m on my bike and L’s in the gym. It’s always good to have a competition to see who can come home the sweatiest.

Potential For Arguments

I decide to take a day off training and rest the legs on the bus as I'm totally knackered. I still plan to bike tomorrow, run a 5k parkrun on Saturday and run the 10k race on Sunday. It's also a tad rough out there weather wise, so perhaps it was a wise move not to bike.

Tonight I have a committee meeting for the dog club. The agenda is huge and the potential for arguments even huger but somehow we get through it.

Defying Logic

The legs continue to defy logic and power me into work again. In fact they then deliver a 50:12 cycle home, the fastest since a bizarre 49 back in June when I think some 80 year bloke was chasing me.

Lunchtime is spent in the Brunswick and then the evening at dog training followed by a quick rendezvous with L and a Dizzy Blonde in the Masons Arms.
