Flurries

Opponent cancels squash again, more back trouble. He seems to know when I’m going to be in the car. If I’d been on the bike it would have been on but I’d have been exhausted.

The Portland Centre are more than happy to roll the booking forward two weeks as we’re on holiday next week. The council would never have done that without a major tantrum.

This change of plan will also upset L’s planned run and I will have to shove her out of the door later.

In a way I’m not too upset I haven’t cycled, it is blowing a gale outside. There are even flurries of snow about. Apparently they’re having a bit more than a flurry in Switzerland, which is where we’ll be tomorrow.

At work we receive an email from our new neighbours saying that they are moving in soon and would like their parking spaces back. Let the chaos commence. I may not be able to park when I get back.

A Royal Reception

Today’s bike was better, my legs seem to be finally recovering.

L gets a royal reception at the pool after not having been for a while. They said they’d been expecting her and she’s not shown up. Shows that they don’t have many early morning customers. It'll be all her fault if they close down the morning sessions.

A third night at dog training.

The Hardest Workout Of The Week

Today’s cycle into work is incredibly hard as my legs are still aching from cycling in the gym on Sunday. Never thought that would be my hardest workout of the week.

We have had a letter pushed through the door inviting comments on the planning proposals for external wall insulation on several properties in the area. So I had a look at the Planning Application on the council’s website and we are one of those properties. Not that they’ve told us.

Yes another plumber comes around to try and fix our leaking bath. Hopefully this one will succeed where the others have failed.

I drop L off in Mickleover and then meet her in Masons for our now regular beer after dog training.
