A Bit Girlie

Cumbria continues to flood, the Langdale 10k was cancelled and people are being rescued from their bedroom windows in Kendal. I keep checking the photos on the various news sites to see if our cottage is underwater. Luckily we have Morrisons across the road who I think would be straight on the case if anything happened. Fingers crossed. Not sure we could have managed to pitch the tent had we gone up for the 10k.

The Notts Bike Ride have had a rebrand. They seem to have accepted the fact that anything under 30 miles is by definition a bit girlie by renaming the 25 miler as the Maid Marian.

Christmas of course means loads of curries and L kicks the ball off tonight with her running pals at the Rajni in Borrowash. 

I decline an offer to join them, which is a good job actually as dogging is surprisingly on. The little Tyke needs it and he may well get three sessions this week.
