It’s Sport Relief soon, well not actually soon but we’re already being bombarded with it.
Greg James is doing a ‘Gregathlon’ completing five triathlons in five days in five UK cities. It sounds exciting, depending on what the distances are of course but naturally the completely useless BBC fails to mention whether it’s 50 metres of each or a full Ironman every day. This matters.
After considerable digging through numerous websites I find he’s swam 2.2 miles, biked 112.6 miles and ran 27.8 miles over three days. So he’s roughly done an Ironman over three days, not bad. Seemingly the outdoor swims are killing him, well it is February.
I run from work and then get the bus home from Borrowash. Then when I get home L heads off out for hers before we watch something called the Secret Life of Bees on DVD. Not really my thing.
