Beyond My Control

I’m on the bus today and running for it after struggling to get out of bed for various reasons that were beyond my control. Luckily the traffic was oddly light, so I still made it to work on time.

Our local junior school Middleton, which is the kids' old school, has announced plans to expand by around 50%. That sounds like a very bad idea to me given the current traffic chaos around the school and the fact they’ll have to say goodbye to most of their playing fields. There’s a consultation on it, that I might have to fill in.

I’m on the bus today because I’ve got a boozy night planned tonight in the Brunswick.
