Refreshed And Energetic

This morning’s bike was very swift, it had to be. Sometime it takes an age to escape from one’s bed. The old gnarled cycling legs actually feel refreshed and energetic after my break. L starts checking out ‘Couch to Century’ programmes, that being a century of cycling. Wow.

Derby County start the new football season in familiar fashion drawing their first league game on Saturday and then going out of the cup in the first round to Portsmouth. Perhaps a bit early to start concentrating on the league but there you go. Actually, I don’t think we’ll be concentrating on that either. We'll probably be mid-table this season due to the fact we have a new manager who has never managed before.
