As it’s a match night I park at my parents’ house in Aston and run in to work. It goes well and another uninjured run is completed.
Ahead of tonight’s match Derby’s new owner announces he has just
sold his business for a cool £3.8 billion. It’s incredible that a company that
produces a silly free game could be worth so much but it looks like we may be
able to afford a few more players.
The run back doesn’t go as well and about a mile out from the
end my calf goes. Oh dear, the end of my uninjured spell which has been so
productive. I walk gingerly the rest of the way so as not to make it any worse.
At the match, Derby scrape a win 1-0 over QPR and we head to
the Harrington for a celebratory pint.
