Today is L’s birthday but sadly the birthday present that I ordered hasn’t arrived yet. I have a backup plan and give the birthday girl a couple of pairs of the eye-wateringly expensive Wolford tights that she loves. I love them too, on her of course. So it’s win-win all round.
I manage another bike to work and another lunch time trot (can’t
really call it a run). This time I manage 6.1k. Which L describes as almost in
double figures. I think she’s had a mathematical failure there, although I will
be in double figures next weekend as we’re both doing the Leicester 10k.
