Christmas Curry

L heads over to visit Son in Leamington today and to do some Christmas shopping with him. She comes with me to work in the car and gets the train over from Derby.

She intersperses their Christmas shopping with a posh lunch of fish finger sandwiches and Chardonnay. Tut tut, fish fingers on a Monday.

I meet her again after work and we go for a quick drink in Derby, in the Furnace before she takes the car home with her and I head off for the dogging club's Christmas curry.

There’s a really good turnout actually, particularly as it’s been organised by a teenager, who of course is the last to arrive but credit where it’s due.
