I have the rest of the week off work and today I head over to Catton Hall to help set up our dog show that runs for three days from Friday.
I load the car up with trophies, club polo shirts and competition prizes, all of which have been gradually accumulating around our house. Then there's our own camping gear to take and... oops, there's no room for the dogs.
The first three hours after I arrive are spent sorting the eleven boxes of trophies into order and labelling them. Thankfully they are all there.
Then there are plenty of other things to do, such as constructing various tents, one of which has a missing pole, so I hope it doesn’t get windy.
I pitch our own tent but don’t stay in it tonight. Wouldn’t be much point with the dogs still at home. I wouldn’t have much fun competing without them, then again it would be much less stressful.
